Strong Debut For ‘The Voice’

The Australian version of “The Voice” enjoyed a strong debut April 15.

It opened with 2.18 million viewers and peaked with 2.93 million, according to OzTam figures.

The Sunday night show, on the free to air Nine Network, includes Keith Urban, Delta Goodrem, Seal and Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden as judges.

“The Voice” was the biggest show on the Sunday, followed by the Logies telecast with 1.81 million, up from 1.32 million last year.
