Festival d’été de Québec Announces 2012 Lineup

Festival d’été de Québec will celebrate its 45th anniversary with performances by Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Skrillex, The Offspring and LMFAO.

The festival is held at various venues in Quebec City July 5-15. 

The anniversary party gets started with a day full of sets in French. The July 5 lineup includes Marième, Sidi Touré, Radio Radio, Bodh’aktan, Papillon, Mononc’ Serge and Lucien Francoeur.

Here’s what the schedule on the Bell Stage at the Plains of Abraham looks like. LMFAO will party rock the festival July 6. Misteur Valaire and Jean Leloup take the stage July 8 with special guests Fanny Bloom, Bran Van 3000’s Liquid and Benny BBQ. Bon Jovi rocks out July 9, Johnny Hallyday and former Eagles guitarist Don Felder perform July 10, followed by Skrillex July 11.

Aerosmith and Our Lady Peace play July 12, Sarah McLachlan sings her heart out July 13, The Offspring headline July 14, and Vincent Vallieres closes the fest July 15.

Loto Quebec Stage at Parc De La Francophonie features sets from Tedeschi Trucks Band, Mastodon, City and Colour, Metric, Big Boi, Renee Martel and more.

The Hyrdo-Quebec Stage at Place Metro in Place D’Youville has lineup up a long list of acts including Lost Bayou Ramblers, Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars, Bettye LaVette and Galactic.

The indoor shows lineup includes Cults, !!!, Grimes, The Beatdown and Sophie Milman.

The advance sale for passes, which get you into all 11 days of the festival, begins Thursday, April 26 in greater Quebec City area Metro supermarkets. Advance passes are $55, including taxes and service fees. The price will increase to $65 Thursday, May 3.

Online and phone sales for festival passes as well as Front Stage Zone cards begin Saturday, April 28. Passes are $66 plus shipping. The price includes taxes and service fees. Front Stage Zone cards gives fans access to a restricted area in front of the stage as well as a bar and VIP toilets.
