Taste Of Chicago Tickets $25

The Taste of Chicago festival will include a $25 charge for seats at concerts at the 3,000-capacity Petrillo Music Shell July 11-15 in Grant Park.

The Chicago City Council approved the charge to bring in about $375,000 toward $2.7 million in losses from the event in the last three years.

Concertgoers will still have the option of free lawn seating, which can hold about 30,000, for shows including Jennifer Hudson, Death Cab For Cutie, Chaka Khan and Dierks Bentley.
