It’s not like The Rocket Summer is skipping parts of the country. Upcoming headline stops include Memphis and Nashville May 1 and 2, respectively, plus several shows with Switchfoot planned for America’s southern states.

The Rocket Summer’s upcoming album, Life Will Write The Words, arrives in stores June 5 and will be the first album released on Avary’s own Aviate indie imprint. In celebration of this milestone The Rocket Summer has booked a special album release performance at West Hollywood’s Roxy Theatre June 5.

The late-spring headline dates with The Scene Aesthetic and special guest States begin in Seattle at El Corazon May 31. Other destinations include Sparks, Nev., at The Alley June 2; San Francisco at Slim’s June 3; Scottsdale, Ariz., at Martini Ranch June 9; Denver at Summit Music Hall June 12; Dallas at Granada Theater June 15 and Austin at The Parish June 16.
