Food + Drink + Music = ‘Great GoogaMooga’
Brought to you by Superfly Presents, the same fun-lovin’ folks who co-founded Bonnaroo, Great GoogaMooga’s musical lineup includes Daryl Hall & John Oates, The Roots, Fitz & The Tantrums, Holy Ghost!, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires plus more. We’re talking two days of indie rock, gospel, punk and other genres along with plenty of culinary delights guaranteed to tickle your taste buds.
The plan calls for approximately 75 restaurants and vendors along with 35 brewers and 100 wines spread across the park’s Nethermead area.
Great GoogaMooga has partnered with Seamless, resulting in the mobile/online service for ordering delivery and takeout food powering the festival’s online restaurant pages, hosting culinary and tech panels and giving festivalgoers opportunities to vote for their favorite dishes via the service’s Craved Awards.
“Food and drink are headliners at GoogaMooga, but we couldn’t imagine a festival experience being complete without some fantastic music to support,” Superfly co-founder Kerry Black said. “We wanted to find a great mix of styles that catered to Brooklyn’s diversity.”
While admission is free you will need to register in order to get a ticket. Concessions in general admission are priced individually but if you pop for Great GoogaMooga’s all-inclusive paid ticket dubbed “Extra Mooga” you’ll have access to 20 different events per day, including entertainment, culinary seminars, cocktail demos, wine and beer tastings and theme parties.
