Roadrunner Layoffs

Shifts at Roadrunner Records have streamlined the company, but in some ways it’s still business as usual.

Reports claim 36 layoffs, 16 in the U.S., including chairman Cees Wessels.

However, sources tell Pollstar that remaining intact are the marketing, promotion, artist development and creative departments, and president Jonas Nachsin is still at the helm.

However, there have been layoffs in A&R, finance and other support functions, and Atlantic is taking over IT services. Warner Music Group is the sole owner of Roadrunner.
