Beach Boys On TV

A film crew will be in action at The Beach Boys’ 50th anniversary tour stop at St. Augustine Amphitheatre in Florida May 2.

“Live From The St. Augustine Amphitheatre” is a special to be aired as part of the new public TV series, “Front Row Center,” presented by PBS-affiliated WNET in New York.

The shed was one of several locations considered for the film including Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Other concerts to appear on the program include Colbie Caillat, Phil Collins and Cheap Trick.
