London Calling For Red Light

Red Light Management is taking its first steps overseas with the addition of a London office and three former SuperVision Management Group staffers, as Pollstar had reported would likely happen.

James Sandom, Cerne Canning and Deb Fenstermacher have joined the firm, bringing a client roster that includes Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines, Crystal Castles, The Cribs and White Lies, among others.
Sandom and Canning will set up the new London digs and Fenstermacher will become part of Red Light’s New York City team.

SuperVision was part of British retailer HMV’s live music interests it acquired when it purchased the MAMA group in 2010. HMV is in the process of trying to sell its live music operations after struggling financially and frustrating investors by straying from its core business of CD and DVD sales.

“The expertise and passion that James Sandom, Cerne Canning, Deb Fenstermacher and their staff bring to this partnership will be incredibly beneficial for all Red Light artists,” Red Light COO Bruce Eskowitz said. “We welcome their remarkable roster of artists into the RLM family and look forward to harnessing all the tools at our disposal to further their long term career development.”

“We’re delighted to begin this new era in our careers, helping establish Red Light Management in UK & Europe. Red Light’s artist-first ethos, breadth of resources, and wealth of knowledge will enable us to provide the best possible service to our artists and intelligent opportunities for future growth. We’ve admired Red Light’s achievements from afar over the last decade, and very much look forward to playing a major role in the company’s future,” noted James Sandom.
