Metric Has A System

The plan for Metric’s fall tour is simple enough – every ticket purchased comes with a download of the Canadian indie band’s “Youth Without Youth” single plus five more tracks. Such a deal!

Metric is giving fans plenty of reason to get excited about the band’s September/October tour. The group’s new album, Synthetica, drops June 12. Along with getting a free download the album’s first single – “Youth Without Youth” when you purchase a ticket for the fall adventure, you’ll also receive five Synthetica Reflections tracks culled from the band’s recording sessions. However, like the album, you’ll have to wait until June 12 to cash in on Reflections.

The band is telling fans to “stream, grab, share ‘Youth Without Youth’” via SoundCloud. Just click here.

The tour begins in Rochester, N.Y., at the Water Street Music Hall Sept. 6 and wraps in Tempe, Ariz., at the Marquee Theatre Oct. 10. Stops along the way include Detroit’s Fillmore Sept. 8; Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium Sept. 14; Upper Darby, Pa., near Philadelphia at the Tower Theatre Sept. 22; New York City at Radio City Music Hall Sept. 23; St. Louis at The Pageant Oct. 2 and Los Angeles at The Greek Theatre Oct. 9.
