Gospel’s ‘The Kings Men’ Arrives In Fall

Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin and Israel Houghton team for a tour bringing the Gospel music stars to 15 U.S. cities.

Produced by Live Nation, “The Kings Men” tour begins in Phoenix in mid-September and concludes in Brooklyn, N.Y., with the four artists playing a mixture of amphitheatres and arenas.

To say there’s a lot of star power on this tour would be an understatement. Franklin has nine Grammys to his credit along with 39 Stellar Awards, 16 Dove Awards, eight NAACP Image Awards, two BET Awards, an American Music Award and a Soul Train Award.

Sapp’s honors include seven Dove Awards and two BET Awards. McClurkin has won three Grammys as well as BET, Soul Train and Dove awards.

Houghton’s honors are equally impressive, including six Doves, two Stellars, four Grammys and a Soul Train Award.
