Hershey Theft

A former employee is accused of siphoning $333,323 from payroll accounts at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Co. over the last decade by exploiting a program application and depositing the cash into a personal account.

Sharon Bomgardner of Lebanon, Pa., was fired in January by the entertainment, sport and hospitality firm after an internal investigation triggered when a finance manager noticed irregularities while reviewing financial entries.

Bomgardner is charged with theft, unlawful use of a computer and criminal use of a communication facility.
