The hip hop artist and producer will have plenty of new rhymes to share with fans thanks to the July 10 release of his sixth LP, Skelethon, on Rymesayers Entertainment. Marking his first wholly self-produced effort, the album features guest appearances from Kimya Dawson, Allyson Baker of Dirty Ghosts, Hanni El Khatib, Nicky Fleming-Yaryan, Rob Sonic, DJ Big Wiz and the Grimace Federation.

The North American road trip gets started July 13 at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre. Next Aesop Rock heads to San Francisco’s The Fillmore July 15, followed by Portland, Ore., at Wonder Ballroom July 19; Vancouver, British Columbia, at the Venue July 20; the Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle July 21; and Salt Lake City’s In The Venue July 23.

Before ending the tour back on the West Coast with an Aug. 15 gig in Solana Beach, Calif., at the Belly Up Tavern, Aesop Rock will also play Chicago (July 28), Toronto (July 30), Montreal (July 31), New York City (Aug. 3), Philadelphia (Aug. 4), Dallas (Aug. 9), Houston (Aug. 10) and Austin (Aug. 11).

Producer and live-beat maker Edison supports the full tour and Rap duo Dark Time Sunshine helps open the U.S. dates.

Tickets go on sale May 11.
