Jay Chou Tops Forbes List

Mandopop superstar Jay Chou topped Forbes’ “China Celebrity 100” list for 2012.

The 33-year-old Taiwanese singer has been incredibly busy this past year, releasing a new hit album, starring in the box office success “The Viral Factor,” and securing more than 10 sponsorship deals. He also carried out a sold-out concert tour throughout the region.

In second place on the list was actor-singer Andy Lau, who is usually in first, followed by Chinese actress Fan Bingbing.

The Top 10 was rounded out by Faye Wong, Li Na, Zhao Benshan, Jolin Tsai, Yao Ming, Jackie Chan, and Lin Chi-ling.
The rankings are determined by income and relative media exposure.
