Lamb Of God & Dethklok Announce Co-Headline Tour
Dethklok can be seen in animated form on the fourth season of “Metalocalypse” on Adult Swim Sundays at 12:15 a.m. The show’s co-created and composer Brendon Small, who voices Dethklock’s Skwisgaar Skwigelf, Pickles, and Nathan Explosion, also fronts the live band on tour. Small will once again be joined on the road by Gene Hoglan on drums, Mike Keneally on guitar and Bryan Beller on bass. The group, accompanied by Dethklok animation and videos on a projection screen, toured with Mastodon in 2009 in support of Dethklok’s second full-length album, Dethalbum II. Small is working on the band’s third release, which is due out later this year.
Lamb Of God and Gojira both have new tunes to share with fans. Lamb’s seventh studio album, Resolution, was released in January and Gojira’s fifth album, L ‘Enfant Sauvage, is due out in June.
The North American co-headline tour begins Aug. 1 at Seattle’s WaMu Theater and runs through a Sept. 15 show in San Francisco at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
