Dog Wins ‘Britain’s Got Talent’

A hound called Pudsey has proven he’s top dog by winning the TV final of “Britain’s Got Talent.”

Ashleigh Butler, 17, from Northampton, England, has taught Pudsey, a family pet, to dance to the theme tune of “Mission Impossible.”

The pooch, who is part border collie, part bichon frise and part Chinese crested cross, came out ahead of a pop-opera duo, various dance troupes, some synchronised swimmers, a Polish comedian and a Welsh choir.

“I adore both of you. You have got better and better as the competition has progressed and to do what you did in such a short time is a miracle,” said Simon Cowell.

He said Ashleigh and Pudsey were “one of his favourite ever acts.”

The young girl and her dog collect a £500,000 cash prize as well as the chance to appear at the Royal Variety Performance.
