Introducing Telluride’s The Ride Festival

Big Head Todd & The Monsters is hosting a new festival in Telluride, Colo., in August along with local NPR-affiliated radio station KOTO.

The Colorado rock band and radio station have hand-picked what is being described as a “rootsy, rocking lineup.” In addition to BHTM, The Ride Festival will feature sets from Ben Harper, Los Lobos, J.J. Grey & Mofro, The Lumineers, North Mississippi Allstars, The Wood Brothers, James McMurtry, David Lindley, Nathaniel Rateliff, Matthew Curry and more. The final lineup and schedule will be announced in June.

The inaugural two-day festival, which is also presented by Telluride Productions, takes place Aug. 25-26 at Telluride Town Park.

Two-day weekend passes go on sale Friday, May 25, priced at $87.50 plus service fees. A limited quantity of VIP tickets, RV parking and camping packages will be available June 1. If weekend passes are left over in late June, single-day tickets will be available at that point.
