Gotye Announces Late Summer North American Tour

Gotye is following up his first major North American headline tour with a 30-plus date trek through the U.S. and Canada in late summer and fall, giving fans tons of chances to sing along to “Somebody That I Used To Know.”

After wrapping up his spring North American tour in April with his second performance at Coachella, the Australia-based Belgian singer/songwriter/musician will return to the states in August, beginning with an Aug. 22 gig in Morrison, Colo., at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Missy Higgins, Jonti, Chairlift, Zammuto and Givers provide support on select dates. Kimbra, who can be heard showing off guest vocals on “Somebody That I Used To Know,” will also join the tour for one gig – Oct. 12 in Grand Prairie, Texas.

A presale for fans who have signed up for Goyte’s mailing list or liked his Facebook page begins for all shows June 6 at 10 a.m. EST. A pre-sale for select dates begins June 5 for Citi cardmembers. A Live Nation/venue/radio presale begins June 6. Tickets go on sale to the general public June 8.
