Dropkick Murphys’ Fall Run

Dropkick Murphys’ fall tour dubbed “Halfway To St. Patrick’s Day” is still in the planning stages, but the Irish-American punk rockers have announced a September show in their native Beantown.

With a promise that the tour schedule will be unveiled soon, Dropkick Murphys have scheduled a hometown gig for Sept. 21 at Boston’s Bank Of America Pavilion.

The band will also play Chicago’s Riot Fest sometime during the festival’s Sept. 14-16 run.

One dollar from each ticket sold for the Boston show will benefit Dropkick Murphy’s charitable foundation, The Claddagh Fund, which helps organizations that help folks struggling with alcohol and drug abuse.
