The Flaming Lips Announce 24-Hour Tour Schedule
A few weeks ago the psychedelic rockers announced the band was planning to take on Jay-Z’s 2006 Guinness World Record for the most live concerts in 24 hours in multiple cities. Jay-Z played seven gigs from California to New York and The Lips will try to complete eight gigs between Tennessee and Louisiana.
When the Lips’ 24-hour tour was first announced, only the first stop – Memphis – and last destination – New Orleans – had been revealed. Now the rest of the locations are locked down along with venues and support acts.
