The Flaming Lips Announce 24-Hour Tour Schedule

The Flaming Lips have plotted out the band’s attempt at Guinness World Record fame with a 24-hour, eight-show road trip made up of gigs as early as 6:30 a.m. to as late as 1 a.m. and support from acts ranging from Grimes to Hunter Hayes.

A few weeks ago the psychedelic rockers announced the band was planning to take on Jay-Z’s 2006 Guinness World Record for the most live concerts in 24 hours in multiple cities. Jay-Z played seven gigs from California to New York and The Lips will try to complete eight gigs between Tennessee and Louisiana.
