Riot Fest Reveals Second Round Of Acts & Daily Lineup

In addition to partying hard at the Toronto and Dallas editions of Riot Fest, Andrew W.K., will bring the party to Chicago’s Riot Fest. The Windy City’s second wave of artist announcements also includes Minus The Bear and Neon Trees.  

The rest of the acts added to the Sept. 14-16 Chicago lineup are Hot Water Music, The Adicts, Pegboy, Dead Sara, Fireworks, Henry Clay People, Environmental Encroachment, The Infected and Imagine Dragons.

Last month festival organizers announced that the 2012 edition of the Chicago Riot fest was being upgraded from a multi-venue event into an outdoor music festival and carnival.

After Friday, Sept. 14’s show at the Congress Theatre, the fun moves outside Saturday and Sunday to Chicago’s Humboldt Park, complete with three main music stages, rides, games, vendors and gourmet food trucks.

Here’s what the daily lineup looks like: 

Friday, Sept. 14: The Offspring, Neon Trees, Pegboy, Dead Sara.

Saturday, Sept. 15: Rise Against, Descendents, Coheed and Cambria, Dropkick Murphys, The Gaslight Anthem, Slapstick, Hot Water Music, Andrew W.K., Minus The Bear, Less Than Jake, GWAR, August Burns Red, Frank Turner, The Adicts, Nobunny, A Whilhelm Scream, Teenage Bottlerocket, Screaming Females, Off With Their Heads, Deals Gone Bad, Larry and His Flask, The Story So Far, Environmental Encroachment, Fireworks and more to be announced.

Single-day passes are now on sale. A limited number of Friday tickets are available for $39.98. Saturday and Sunday tickets are priced at $34.50 each. VIP Saturday and Sunday tickets are also available for $99 each. VIP perks include access to VIP lounges with a private bar, VIP viewing area near the stage and 10 beverage tickets.

Three-day passes are sold out. Two-day (Sept. 15-16) general admission and VIP passes are still available, priced at $49.99 for GA and $155 for VIP.

Riot Fest is returning for the second year to Philadelphia’s Festival Pier July 19. The festival is also expanding to Brooklyn, N.Y. (Sept. 8); Toronto (Sept. 9) and Dallas (Sept. 22).
