Elvis Lives In 2013

Elvis is still alive and well. In fact, he’s doing better than ever. Due to demand from fans, the 2012/2013 touring season of “Elvis Lives: The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Event” will feature more than triple the number of shows compared to last season’s tour.

Described as “an unforgettable multi-media and live musical journey across Elvis’ life,” the show stars finalists from Elvis Presley Enterprises’ annual worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, along with a live band, back-up singers and dancers, an Ann-Margret tribute artist, and iconic imagery from the Graceland archives.

Fans will get the chance to check out a never-before-seen exhibit of life-size images of Elvis’ stage-wear, which will be on display in the lobby of each venue of the tour.

It’s good to be The King!

The upcoming tour will feature more than 100 performances in 60 cities. Before the 2013 dates begin, Elvis Lives will play eight shows in Wilmington, Del., at the DuPont Theatre to celebrate the venue’s 100th season. The residency is set for Oct. 2-7, with multiple shows on Oct. 3 and Oct. 6.

The 2013 schedule kicks off Jan. 12 in Gainesville, Fla., at the University of Florida Philips Center. The last stop is Reno, Nev., with three nights scheduled at the Pioneer Center For The Performing Arts May 3-5.
