Jackson Browne Announces Fall Leg

Jackson Browne will keep the acoustic tunes going into the fall, with shows booked in October and November.

The previously announced summer leg of Browne’s 2012 U.S. Acoustic Tour kicks off July 14 in Charlotte, N.C., at the Belk Theater and runs through Aug. 15 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, at Cain Park.

The singer/songwriter plans to shows off songs on the guitar and piano from his entire catalog. With a total of 13 studio albums from his self-titled 1972 debut through 2008’s Time the Conqueror, Jackson will have a bunch of tunes to pick from when making up the varying set lists each night.

Singer-songwriter and fiddle player Sara Watkins, a founding member of Nickel Creek, is opening the tour as a special guest.

“I’m really excited to have Sara joining me on this tour,” Jackson said. “We’ve played together a number of times in the last few years, sometimes on her show and sometimes mine, and it’s always been a thrill for me. I’m floored by her amazing instrumental virtuosity and by her beautiful voice, and most of all, I love her songs.”

The fall leg begins Oct. 15 in Morgantown, W.Va. Check out the complete fall routing below.
