Metric Announces Canadian Headline Tour

Metric will bring its fall tour to his home turf in November with 10 dates scheduled across the provinces.

The Canadian indie rock band is touring in support of its fifth studio album, Synthetica, which was released earlier this month.

Previously announced shows are booked in the United Kingdom and Australia, followed by the U.S. portion of the fall tour, which kicks off Sept. 6 and wraps up Oct. 13 at Austin City Limits.

A fan presale is currently ongoing through Metric’s website, offering “the best seats in the house, priced better than anywhere else with way less fees.” The band warns that fans should act quickly because only a limited number of presale tickets are available.

Metric is offering fans (who haven’t already purchased the new album) another way to save money by bundling the ticket with a digital download of Synthetica for an extra $8.49 (a 15 percent discount off the regular price).

The general onsale for Victoria, Kelowna, London and Kingston begins Friday, June 29. Tickets for the rest of the dates are on sale now.
