The Swedish garage rock band put out its fifth album, Lex Hives, earlier this month on the band’s own Disques Hives label. Since then Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist and the guys have been busy promoting the release.

A few weeks ago the band released the official video for the track “Go Right Ahead.”

Now you can download the tune for free through Adult Swim’s Singles Program, offering free downloads from 12 bands over 12 weeks. The free single this week is the unreleased live version of “Go Ahead,” recorded in one take at Benny Andersson’s RMV Studio in Stockholm when the band was in the process of recording Lex Hives.

The Hives will end June by finishing up a brief North American tour with stops in Pontiac, Mich. (June 27); Milwaukee (June 29) and Chicago (June 30). The band is spending July and August playing European festivals and then comes back to North America in September to rock the gigs listed below.
