Mumford & Sons U.S. Summer Tour
There’s a good chance the British folk-rock group will use the tour as an opportunity to introduce U.S. fans to some new tunes from its upcoming album. The as-yet-untitled disc is expected to be released sometime this fall as the follow-up to Mumford & Sons’ debut Sigh No More.
Featuring a rotating lineup curated by the band including acts such as Gogol Bordello, St. Vincent and Justin Townes Earl, the Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers are scheduled in Portland, Maine (Aug. 4); Bristol, Tenn. (Aug. 11); Dixon, Ill. (Aug. 18) and Monterey, Calif. (Aug. 25). Mumford & Sons headline every stopover, which promise “the excitement of a world-class music festival,” with vendors, merch, special events unique to each concert site, and after-show parties in local bars.
