You won’t find the dates on Blige’s official website, but at least four shows have presales launching this week and general onsales beginning next week.

The new dates are in addition to her previously announced gigs at Caesars Atlantic City June 29-30 & July 3-4 as well as her Essence Music Festival appearance at New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome July 7.

Taking to the road with D’Angelo and Melanie Fiona onboard, the new listings are for Virginia, New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey.

Aug. 18 – Virginia Beach, Va., Farm Bureau Live At Virginia Beach
Aug. 19 – Wantagh, N.Y., Nikon At Jones Beach Theater
Aug. 21 – Boston, Mass., Bank Of America Pavilion
Aug. 23 – Holmdel, N.J., PNC Bank Arts Center

Presales begin June 29 and general onsales launch July 2.

Why haven’t these dates been mentioned on Blige’s official website? Heck, we don’t know, but maybe the powers that be at Interscope think it’s more important to push last week’s GMA appearance than let fans know their favorite artist has a few shows going on sale in the coming days.
