The upcoming two-month journey marks a big adventure for Namesake. Along with supporting Allstar Weekend, the band’s first album, Boarders & Fences, drops Aug. 7 on Imagen Records.  The vid embedded below depicts the band playing its first single, “Worlds Away,” at Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio.

Playing clubs across the country, Allstar Weekend’s July-Aug. outing launches in Austin at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q / Waller Creek Amphitheatre July 17 and concludes in Asbury Park, N.J., at the famed Stone Pony Aug. 18. Stops in between include Houston (Aug. 18); San Francisco (July 24), Denver (July 29); Milwaukee (Aug. 3), Cleveland (Aug. 6); New York City (Aug. 10) and Boston (Aug. 11).
