Back in April Garbage put a few shows on hold when guitarist Duke Erikson had to fly home due to a family medical emergency.

Four postponed shows in Utah, Colorado and Texas have been rescheduled. The band will play Salt Lake City’s In The Venue Oct. 5; Denver’s Ogden Theatre Oct. 6; Houston at House Of Blues Oct. 9 and Austin at La Zona Rosa Oct. 10.

A posting on Garbage.com says fans holding tickets for the original shows will be contacted by the venues about exchanging tickets for the newly rescheduled shows or obtaining refunds if the new dates don’t work for them.

Garbage also added a few new dates, announcing Seattle at the Showbox SoDo Sept. 26; Portland, Ore., at Roseland Theater Sept. 27; Vancouver, British Columbia, at The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts Sept. 29; San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre Oct. 1 and Los Angeles at The Wiltern Oct. 2.
