Japan Halen

Udo Artists finally confirmed that Van Halen would play Japan, after the group postponed and then canceled most of the remaining dates on its American tour.

Though there were rumors the reunion was unraveling, the Japan tour seemed to indicate it wasn’t.

The show scheduled for the Osaka Gymnasium Nov. 20 quickly sold out and on July 14 a second show at the same venue was added for Nov. 22.

So far only one Tokyo show is slated, for Nov. 27 at the Tokyo Dome.

Udo made a special announcement that no shows had been scheduled for Nagoya, the largest city in central Japan.

Apparently, the promoter had received numerous calls from fans who expected the group to play in the region.
