Sheriff Joe Smackdown

Outspoken Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio is upset at comedian George Lopez for unleashing a profanity-laden rant against him.

Lopez took on the Maricopa County Sheriff when taping an HBO special called “George: It’s Not Me, It’s You.” Arpaio, known in part for his tough stance on illegal immigration, said he was shocked that the comments weren’t part of a joke, and has said he would like Lopez to be man enough to voice his opinions face-to-face.

Lopez’s comments regarding Arpaio were almost entirely four-letter words. A Lopez representative said the comedian would have no further comment.
