Although The Wombats will target mostly nightclubs on the upcoming journey, a few high-profile festival gigs are also on the routing. The band will play Seattle’s Bumbershoot Sept. 3 and Austin City Limits Oct. 12.

The band’s new single, “Jump Into The Fog,” from The Wombats Proudly Present… This Modern Glitch, is currently receiving great airplay in the United Kingdom and Australia. It’s also doing pretty doggone well on this side of the pond, reaching No. 1 on Sirius XM’s “Alt Nation” countdown. YouTubers are also lovin’ it, giving the official video 2.4 million hits.

The tour begins in Portland, Ore., at the Wonder Ballroom. Other stops include Lansing, Mich. (Sept. 8), Minneapolis (Sept. 18), Charlotte, N.C. (Sept. 24), San Diego (Oct. 1), Los Angeles (Oct. 7) and Boston (Oct. 17).
