Bassnectar Books Fall Tour

Bassnectar revealed dates for his fall tour today, promising Bass Heads a “touring roadshow like never before” that won’t leave any brain unmelted.

The outing will hit up U.S. and Canadian markets not covered on the Vava Voom spring tour.

Vava Voom is the name of Bassnectar’s latest album, released in April on his label Amorphous Music. The electronic dance music/dubstep artist, DJ and producer aka Lorin Ashton collaborated on Vava Voom with Lupe Fiasco and Amp Live, in addition to featuring vocals from Mimi Page and a tribute to Pennywise.

Bassnectar plans to release the Freestyle Mixtape soon, saying it will feature “tons of new material, gallons of classic material, and as many reinvented versions & new combinations of your favorite sounds as we can squeeze together.”

The fall outing begins Sept. 27 in Greensboro, N.C., and wraps up with two nights at New York City’s Terminal 5 Nov. 17-18.

Gramatik and Gladkill support most dates on the tour. Bass Center VII is set for Oct. 6 in St. Louis with special guests including Canadian electronic duo Zeds Dead. Ghostland Observatory will stop by the Oct. 20 gig in San Francisco and German EDM producer/DJ Zedd will take the stage in Minneapolis Nov. 3. Secrets, Dave Nada and Griz will also join in on the fun on select shows.
