Maine Arena Gets Sponsor

The new arena under construction in Bangor, Maine, will be named Cross Insurance Center under a $3 million, 15-year naming rights agreement.

Under the deal, Cross will make quarterly payments of $50,000 and will have the right to renegotiate after 12 years, according to the Bangor Daily News.

The $65 million arena and events center is said to be on schedule to open in September 2013.
