Springsteen Back In The U.S.A.

The Boss’ fall tour now includes an additional 16 North American shows.

We’ll go ahead and pat ourselves on the back for predicting yesterday that a new Nov. 1 gig in University Park, Pa., and Springsteen’s recent New Yorker profile could mean that Bruce & the gang might soon be announcing another set of dates.

The previously announced leg of the Wrecking Ball World Tour for Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band begins with two nights at Boston’s Fenway Park Aug. 14-15. Instead of wrapping up with three gigs in Springsteen’s home state of New Jersey at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium Sept. 19 and Sept. 21-22, the band now returns to the stage Oct. 19 in Ottawa, Ontario.

Including the University Park date, today’s official announcement from the Springsteen camp features a total of 16 stops in the U.S. and Canada. Here’s the routing for the new shows:

Tickets for Kansas City go on sale Aug. 3, followed by onsales for University Park and Saint Paul Aug. 4. Additional onsales are scheduled in August and September.
