Reggae Rhythms For Festivals

A contingent of global reggae names will appear at two Australian festivals in the southern spring.

The 10th Reggaetown World Music Festival, Sept. 1 at Kuranda amphitheatre, announced its first round of acts including Australia’s Blue King Brown, New Zealand’s Katchafire, Jamaica’s Gramps Morgan and Rize of the Morning Star from Papua New Guinea.

The seventh Island Vibe Festival, held off the Queensland coast on North Stradbroke Island Oct. 26-28, has Jamaica’s The Original Wailers and Prince Alla with Mr Savona among its first round of artists.
