Kid Rock Chillin’ in Redneck Paradise

Kid Rock’s “Chillin’ The Most Cruise” will mark its fourth year with a new ship and a new island destination.

Set for March 6-10, 2013, the cruise’s new home is the Norwegian Pearl, a more intimate ship featuring 13 bars and lounges, 19 different dining experiences, a world-class spa, the Pearl Club Casino, a fitness center, a rock climbing wall and a four-lane bowling alley.

After departing Miami, The Norwegian Pearl sets sail for the private beaches of Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, otherwise known during the cruise as Redneck Paradise.

Kid Rock will perform on Norwegian’s Private Island in addition to kicking off the Chillin’ with his signature sail away set on the pool deck. Support acts are yet to be announced.

Brought to you by Sixthman, the annual voyage Kid calls his “adult Christmas” also includes onboard activities with artists and ship-sports such as flip cup, ping pong and trivia.

Prices per person begin at $675 (plus taxes and fees). A presale for Kid Rock Cruise alumni began last week. Fans who have never sailed with Kid can sign up for a presale through KidRockCruise.com and began booking as early as Aug. 14.

Fans will have the opportunity to chill out even more with a pre-party on board the night before the cruise. If you opt to pay extra for the pre-party (a flat rate based on room category and number of guests) you’ll get to check in throughout the day March 5 and enjoy an evening with live music along with an early dose of the cruise’s casino, restaurants, bars and lounges. The ship sets sail that evening for the party on the water and then returns to pick up the rest of the guests embarking March 6.
