Spampanato Named Forum GM

MSG Entertainment has named Nick Spampanato VP and GM of The Forum in Los Angeles.

Spampanato has served as GM of the MSG-managed Beacon Theatre in New York since 2009. He is also the former GM of the Hollywood Palladium and The Wiltern, and managed the backstage operations for the Gibson Amphitheatre.

Spampanato will be responsible for overseeing the building, including managing third-party service providers and act as the Forum’s primary rep with the City of Inglewood and Los Angeles County. He will also serve as key exec on the Forum’s renovations.

“With more than 20 years of experience in Los Angeles and New York, we are confident that Nick will play a key role in representing MSG Entertainment and the Forum on the West Coast and within the Inglewood community,” MSG Entertainment President Melissa Ormond said.

Madison Square Garden Company closed a deal June 25 to buy the 17,500-capacity Forum from Faithful Central Bible Church for $23.5 million.

MSG’s expansion to the West Coast includes an extensive renovation of the historic venue to begin later this year. Details of the reported $50 million project will be revealed this fall.
