Hey, Hey, They’re The Monkees

Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork just might be walking down your street during their fall tour beginning on the West Coast in November.

Yes, the Monkeemobile will be rolling across the country this year as the three surviving members of The Monkees appear on stage for the first time in 15 years. Davy Jones passed away from a heart attack earlier this year.

Of course, you can expect plenty of memories in the form of Monkees hits such as “Last Train To Clarksville,” “Pleasant Valley Sunday,” and “I’m A Believer.” A tribute to Jones is also in the works.

Presented as “an evening with,” the band that was created for NBC’s 1960s TV show will launch the adventure in Escondido, Calif., at the California Center For The Arts Nov. 8. Stops include Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Chicago and Philadelphia before wrapping in New York City Dec. 2.
