More Fall Dates For Silversun Pickups
The alternative rock band is touring in support of its third studio album, Neck of the Woods. Released in May on independent label Dangerbird Records, the album was produced by Jacknife Lee (R.E.M., Bloc Party). The Los Angeles Times gave Neck of the Woods three out of four stars, writing “its allusions all nod to the best stuff from a time when rock acts could be experimental, heavy and platinum-selling at once.”

The first leg of the fall tour begins with two Canadian festival appearances. Silversun Pickups will be at X-Fest in Calgary, Alberta, Sept. 1, followed by a Sept. 2 set at Sonic Boom in Edmonton, Alberta. With previously announced North American dates booked through Sept. 21, stops include Vancouver; Santa Monica, Calif.; Las Vegas; Des Monies, Iowa; Minneapolis and Chicago.
The new dates are sandwiched between an Oct. 6 spot at KTBZ Buzzfest in The Woodlands, Texas, and an Oct. 26 appearance at Voodoo Experience in New Orleans.

A presale begins Aug. 22. Tickets go on sale to the general public Aug. 24.
The fall tour features support from School Of Seven Bells, Cloud Nothings and Atlas Genius on select dates.
