First Midwest Concert Attack

A man who was attacked during a Jason Aldean concert at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Ill., Aug. 18 was reportedly hospitalized with internal bleeding, fractured ribs and a ruptured spleen.

According to police reports obtained by the Southtown Star, the patron was attacked by three men he didn’t know while he was returning to his lawn seat during the show. He was tackled and repeatedly kicked in the torso by a group of men until a friend of the victim intervened and the attackers fled.

The victim lost two liters of blood and later had his spleen removed, the paper reported.
