No Snoop Movement

A club in Los Angeles is suing a promoter called Movement Management that promised a Snoop Dogg appearance.

Exchange LA is suing for a $15,000 refund and $100,00 in punitive damages, according to TMZ. The club paid the promoter the $15,000 as part of a $25,000 deposit for Snoop to walk through its club June 30.

Movement allegedly then told the club the rapper was double-booked (read: on tour in Europe).

Now the club wants its money back and Movement has not responded.

Snoop Dogg is officially repped by the Personal Appearance department of William Morris Endeavor and, no, Movement is not his management company of record.

Also, although he made a media event out of changing his name to Snoop Lion because of an upcoming Reggae record, his name, as far as the industry is concerned, is same as it ever was.
