For its current ad campaign, Austraian supermarket chain Coles used members of veteran British band Status Quo performing a re-recorded, branded version of the hit “Down Down.”
Now Coles is sponsoring the band’s March 2013 tour.
The four theatre dates, March 27 to April 3, are booked through Chugg Entertainment. A new studio album, Quid Pro Quo, is out exclusively through Coles.
In other tour news, Handsome Tours confirmed an Evan Dando and Juliana Hatfield team-up for four club shows Dec. 16-22.
San Diego’s Little Hurricane is here for two club shows mid-October.
