“Electric Zoo” is taking over New York City’s Randall’s Island Friday through Sunday. With main stage headliners including David Guetta, Pretty Lights, Laidback Luke and more, the EDM blowout is a 72-hour party that says goodbye to summer in one massive beat-driven sonic celebration.
But if you can’t make the trek to NYC, you can bring the festival to you via SiriusXM. The satellite music service is pumping out “Electric Zoo” as it happens on its electronic dance music channel 52, through early Monday.
While “Electric Zoo” beams down to your radio from space, Jay-Z’s “Budweiser Made In America Festival” taking place at Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway Sept. 1-2, will stream live on the ’Net.
Of course, a YouTube stream may not be the best way to go if you’re doing something that requires a careful eye this weekend, say, driving a car, for example. That’s where Internet radio outfit Pandora comes in. The Internet radio outfit has partnered with Budweiser to provide live streams, a first for the online service.
“Made In America” will stream on YouTube and Pandora from 2 p.m. through 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
“We partnered with YouTube and Pandora because we want to bring the festival experience beyond those lucky festival-goers who will experience the inaugural ‘Budweiser Made In America’ in person,” VP of Budweiser for Anheuser-Busch Rob McCarthy said. “We are thrilled to be able to bring music lovers the amazing roster of talent that will perform in Philadelphia over Labor Day weekend. Budweiser’s live streaming partnership with both YouTube and Pandora is an example of our commitment to music fans everywhere.”
