With the Crows’ penchant for improvisation, the band’s fall tour will probably see a lot of return business from fans who caught them on their spring run or during the summer on the “Outlaw Road Show.” Having released their latest album, Underwater Sunshine, earlier this year, the Counting Crows have new music to play along with songs from their 20-plus years in the biz.

Opening in Port Chester, N.Y., at the Capitol Theatre, the Counting Crows’ fall adventure will take the band across the country with stops including Charlottesville, Va., New Orleans, Thackerville, Okla., Tucson, Ariz., and Los Angeles.
