Isaac Damages Riverfest Shed

Tropical Storm Isaac’s strong winds ripped the fabric roof of the Riverfest Amphitheatre in Little Rock, Ark., Aug. 31 but the venue is under repair.

Diana McClung, director of Riverfront operations for the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, told arkanasasmatters.com the repairs to the 7,000-capacity shed should be completed in about a week.

No concerts were affected by the storm damage.

Plans to install a new, permanent roof by spring 2013 are already in the works, McClung told the website.
