Lifelight Draws 300K

An event billed as the nation’s largest Christian music festival recently drew about 300,000 people to in Worthing, S.D., Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, according to organizer estimates.

The LifeLight Festival, which featured artists including Skillet, Tenth Avenue North, Peter Furler and Mandisa, was free to attend and festival director Julie Klinger told KELO television this year’s fest could break records for the ministry that produces the event.

LifeLight also hosts festivals in Guatemala, Haiti, Texas and Missouri.
