Norah Jones Australian Run

Marking her first tour of Australia in seven years, Norah Jones lines up a week on the continent during February. Tickets go on sale next week for the tour which includes stops in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Touring in support of her Danger Mouse-produced album, Little Broken Hearts, Jones’ itinerary consists of mostly theatres such as Sydney’s State Theatre and Adelaide’s Festival Theatre.

Feb. 15 – Sydney, State Theatre
Feb. 19 – Brisbane, Convention & Exhibition Centre
Feb. 21 – Melbourne, Plenary Hall
Feb. 22 – Adelaide, Festival Theatre
Feb. 24 – Perth, Riverside Theatre

You’ll notice that’s a pretty big gap – four days – between Jones’ first and second Australia gig, leaving our wandering minds to ponder whether she’s considering extra shows in Sydney or Brisbane. Guess that’s for Jones and her tour promoter — Australia’s Frontier Touring Company – to decide.
