Lamb Of God Reschedules U.S. Tour

In August Lamb Of God returned to the road for a few festival appearances following Randy Blythe’s release from a Czech Republic jail and told fans the band was planning to launch its U.S. tour in late October. The dates have been confirmed with a ticket onsale starting next week.

The fall tour marks Lamb Of God’s first U.S. excursion in support of its seventh studio album, Resolution, released in January. The band was originally scheduled to tour North America with Dethklok in August and September.

Lamb Of God was forced to cancel the remainder of its European summer dates and the North American co-headline trek after local police arrested Blythe in late June, hours before a show in Prague. The singer is accused of being involved in a 2010 incident in Prague in which a fan died after reportedly jumping on the stage numerous times.

The U.S. tour will now begin Oct. 30 in Phoenix. An announcement from the band notes that it will not to be able to tour Canada due to Blythe’s “continuing legal situation.”
