Adelaide Taps Martin Elbourne

The city of Adelaide has tapped London-based Martin Elbourne as its new live music “Thinker In Residence.” 

Elbourne was co-founder of Womad, booker for Glastonbury, and developer of Brighton’s The Great Escape in Brighton, M for Montreal in Canada and India’s new NH7.

The residency was set up to build Adelaide’s brand as a vibrant music capital.

Elbourne has already indicated that it is important to set up a “creative cluster” of music, arts and digital companies to inspire and energize each other.
